We are delighted to welcome students & famiies to what will be another great year at Douglas Road. Please remember to check your emails and this site regularly as there will be regular important updates.
Next week students will return to last year’s teacher. We hope to finalize our organization by Monday, so that you will know who your child’s teacher will be. Please note that we do our best to accommodate all requests received in the Spring, and consider many factors including friendships, balanced classes and class composition.
Traffic Concerns – as you can see there is road work taking place. We will be sending email updates daily regarding car and pedestrian access points. Leaving the car at home if possible could help reduce cogestion and frustration levels on our nearby streets.
Please follow the guidelines below:
During construction please follow the directions of the flag person and the map sent out to parents

- Please remember to drive slowly and cautiously
- Role model for your children traffic safety – use the cross walk
- Follow the rules of the road – no u-turns
- Parking is available at the church, but with entrance AND exit via Teal Ave. only – again please walk the extra steps to use the cross-walk
