We know we should be taking great care of our Earth EVERY DAY, but keeping April 22nd as a special day to focus all of our attention is a very good idea.
Here at Douglas Road, we use many recycled materials in our classrooms; we keep beautiful & delicious things growing in our outdoor planters; we have grand trees dotting our campus & providing habitat for all sorts of birds & other creatures; and we continue to see large numbers of folks in our school community walking, cycling or taking transit every day.
