While we are venturing into very new territory right now, there is also much about this September that is familiar. Every year, we are anxious about going back to school, excited (and a little nervous) about new classes, classmates and about what lies ahead. Those days are here again, the new year begins, and maybe especially with these days we are in, we are eager to welcome everyone back.
Thanks to a whole lot of cooperation and hard work at the provincial, district and school levels, we’ll be set to see students again on a gradual basis starting Thursday, September 10th with all classes in session to start the following week . Families will have already received a letter with Burnaby School District back-to-school plans from our Superintendent, Gina Niccoli-Moen and also the August 28 Update . Additional information for Douglas Road families will be emailed this week (Aug. 31).
There is an Electronic Form for Families to Complete for Each of their Children by September 1 at 11:00 PM. This and all the latest information on return to school plans is posted on the Burnaby School District website.
